Information Regarding 1098 Tax Forms

The 1098 is a Mortgage Interest Statement that shows how much mortgage interest was paid for the previous fiscal year.

For Real Estate taxes paid in 2023, please refer to your HOA statement.

Where Can I Find My 1098?

For Members with loans in 2023, 1098s have been mailed and are available online. One 1098 will be made available for each account, if applicable, even for those accounts with multiple Owners. The primary Owner on the account will be held responsible for supplying additional Owners with the 1098 form.

Why Did I Not Receive a 1098?

There are a few reasons why you may not be able to view your 1098 online.

  • A 1098 is not issued if the interest paid was less than $600. If the interest paid was less than $600 it is not reported to the IRS.
  • A 1098 is not issued for loans where the primary borrower is a Corporation, Trust, or Partnership. Mortgage interest paid by these entities is not reported to the IRS.
  • If you did not have a loan in 2023, you will not receive a 1098.
