Located in the heart of Washington, D.C., between Dupont Circle and Georgetown, is the newest Hilton Club destination and its first in the U.S. capital: The District by Hilton Club. Embedded in the Embassy Suites by Hilton, this property boasts newly renovated one- and two-bedroom units and sophisticated surroundings from which guests can see all the city offers.

Just four blocks from multiple Metro lines and a short walk to high-end shops on M Street, dining options in Georgetown and Foggy Bottom, and many of the biggest sights in the capital, The District is close to almost everywhere you’ll want to go in Washington.

If you find yourself hungry after settling into your suite, we recommend heading over to the Georgetown Waterfront for a bite at Washingtonian magazine's #1 restaurant of 2016, Fiola Mare. Sip on a “Foreign Policy,” a gin cocktail with limoncello-honey syrup, lemon juice and prosecco, as you enjoy the view. In the background, you’ll see the Kennedy Center and the Watergate building as boats pass by on the Potomac River in front of you.
Afterwards, you can stay in the area and sign up for one of the many boat tours offered on the Potomac River, or even rent a kayak or canoe to explore on the water. You can rent from Thompson Boat Center, which is just a couple of minutes’ walk from the restaurant.
Or, head to the National Mall to see the U.S. Capitol and the national monuments. Need a break from the sun? Head inside. You’re perfectly situated to enter one of the many Smithsonian Museums lining the Mall, including the Museum of National History, the National Gallery of Art, the Air and Space Museum and more. Here’s a map of where all the Smithsonian Museums — those around the mall and elsewhere in D.C. — are located.
1.2 miles from the White House
0.9 mile from the Kennedy Center of Performing Arts
2.2 miles from the National Mall
2.8 miles from the Jefferson Memorial
1.1 miles from the Georgetown Waterfront
Less than 0.5 mile to the shops on M Street in Georgetown
