Club Technology: New Booking Engine and Dashboard Enhancements
Over the past year, improvements in Club technology, such as the launch of the new Club website and mobile app, have worked toward making Club Members’ vacation planning simpler and more efficient. Now, the momentum continues with the imminent release of a new booking engine and an improved Member dashboard.
What exactly is the new booking engine?
If you know when and where you would like to go on vacation, you can simply enter the dates and location into the new availability search field, which is slated to roll out later this month. The search results will show what’s available. In other words, Members can search across multiple properties in a location and across multiple unit types without having to refer to individual resort pages. Also, Members can easily shift their travel dates around to find what works.
Search for “Orlando” and all four Hilton Grand Vacations Club properties will appear in one view you can scroll through. The new search is similar to the former Revolution booking engine that many Members have been asking for, making it even more user-friendly.
The creation of this availability search has been one of Club’s top priorities, according to Jason Bongo, director of digital content for Club. The new search is in addition to the existing global search, which Members will still be able to use. Furthermore, if Members already know where they want to go, the standard calendar booking tool on the individual resort pages is another resource.
What improvements are planned for the Member dashboard?
Later this month, the Club website Member dashboard will include better access to Members’ Hilton Honors account and points balance, the ability for Members to directly log in to their RCI/HGV account on the RCI website, and the ability to directly book Home Week reservations. Members will be able to easily see the weeks they own, including the season, unit type and number of ClubPoints, the status of the week and whether they’ve booked a reservation and the availability for when they can book.
“The dashboard is the central hub/home page for Members when they log in, and these are three items members have asked for easy access to, so we included them here,” Bongo says.
Member feedback matters! Share your thoughts and suggestions on any enhancements you’d like to see on the website. Simply log-in to the Club website and click on the blue “Feedback” tab in the upper right-hand corner of each page.
