A haven for relaxation, fine epicurean experiences and outdoor adventures, Hawaii is now also home to even more Club Member vacation opportunities, thanks to two new properties. This fall, Ocean Tower by Hilton Grand Vacations Club—the first HGV property on Hawaii Island to offer Members direct ocean views—officially opened. That’s not all: HGV recently announced its sixth Oahu property. Here’s the scoop on both.
With unique island-themed decor, Ocean Tower offers Members beauty inside and out. Let your eyes wander to the window and there, in your own personal picture frame, is the Pacific Ocean.
“What sets the ocean views of this tower apart from others is the expansiveness of the view,” Rob G., general manager at Kings’ Land by Hilton Grand Vacations Club, told Club Traveler while the project was underway. “The contrast of the crystal-clear blue Pacific against the striking lavascape coastline, only to be augmented by the emerald green fairways of the Waikoloa Beach golf course, is one to remember.”
Rob says the tower’s location as a sanctuary within the Hilton Waikoloa Village resort complex is his favorite part, with guests arriving to Ocean Tower by either canal boat or monorail tram.
Ocean Tower’s initial phase, which just opened, features 18 studios, 24 one-bedroom suites, 24 two-bedroom suites and six three-bedroom suites. The resort also includes an exclusive fitness center, a check-in and departure lounge, and access to all the pools, restaurants, shops and amenities of Hilton Waikoloa Village.
Members will soon have even more options in the Aloha State, with HGV’s recent purchase of 1.05 acres to develop its sixth Oahu property—and its first Hilton Club location in Hawaii—all in the heart of Waikiki.
What’s next? HGV plans to develop the property into a 32-story tower. Construction will begin during the second quarter of 2019, with completion slated for the first quarter of 2022 and sales set to begin mid-2020. The new Waikiki property will bring the brand’s amenities to its 191 units, comprised of studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom suites, many of which will boast ocean views. The property will also include a pool, fitness and business centers, and an Owners’ lounge.
“Building on our local development history that started with the Lagoon Tower in 2000, our latest project in Waikiki will ensure HGV continues to offer lifetime vacation experiences to our next generation of Owners,” says Mark Wang, president and CEO of Hilton Grand Vacations.
Stay tuned to Club Traveler and the Club website for more information about these new properties. Until then, aloha!
