How are points extended year to year?
You can extend the life of your ClubPoints by visiting the Club website at club.hiltongrandvacations.com. You can navigate to Manage My Points, where you will find the option to Save points. You can also call a Club Counselor at 1-800-932-4482 for assistance.
Why do you lose points after three years?
ClubPoints expire on December 31 of each calendar year. Each allocation of ClubPoints is tied to a week of accommodations every year. Inventory and Member use patterns are analyzed and inventory is allocated based on that. The program is designed for each Member to use their points for an option within the Club for that year. For those who are unable to vacation, the option of saving, converting to Hilton Honors or depositing in RCI, for a fee, is available. If we had no expiration date on points, we would eventually not have enough inventory to accommodate our Members’ needs in the future.
What are Bonus Points, and how can you use them?
Bonus Points are additional or “bonus” Club currency. They are awarded with your purchase of a vacation ownership interest or through Club affiliated programs and ClubPartner relationships. Bonus Points are valid for a maximum of two years. Bonus Points can be redeemed for reservations at Club resorts during Home Resort and Club reservation windows, ClubPartner Perks, hotel reservations at participating properties in the Hilton portfolio of brands, RCI exchange vacations, specialty merchandise and gift certificates, conversion to Hilton Honors points, or used toward annual maintenance fees.
Why can't the Club and Bonus Points be combined?
ClubPoints and Bonus Points have unique expiration dates and this is why we are unable to combine the two for a Club reservation.
Is there a way to get more Bonus points?
Bonus Points are awarded with your purchase of a vacation ownership interest or through Club affiliated programs and ClubPartner relationships.
How would I know when my Bonus Points expire?

Click on Points, and you will be taken to your Points Dashboard. There you will see your Bonus Points listed along with the issue date and expiration date.
We earned Bonus Points in January when we purchased our membership. Can I extend for next year?

Once you log in, you will see Points across the top of the screen (or in the drop-down menu). Click on Points, and you will be taken to your Points Dashboard. When points are granted in January of a given year, are they used for vacations in that year, or in the next year?
ClubPoints are awarded January 1 and expire December 31 of each calendar year. They are used for vacations in the current year. If you do not use your ClubPoints in the current calendar year, you can stretch them into the next year by Saving them and they will be added to your ClubPoints for next year. Another option would be to deposit them to RCI, where they will have another two years of use.
What if one is on an every other year plan? Can you borrow points to use for 2017 from 2019?
You can borrow back points one year. So, in your situation, your 2019 ClubPoints can be utilized in 2019 or can be borrowed back to be used in 2018. If you wanted to combine your 2017 and 2018 points, you could do that for use in 2018. You would Save your 2017 points into 2018 and then borrow back your 2019 points into 2018.
What happens if you are a few points short? Is there any way to get additional points for a single use?
ClubPoints are tied to the vacation ownership real estate interest. They cannot be sold outside the purchase of the real estate. If you do not have enough ClubPoints in this year’s allotment to confirm a reservation that you want to make, you are able to Borrow from next year’s allotment to make the reservation. If you find that you are consistently needing more ClubPoints than you currently have, you may want to speak to our Direct Sales department to increase your ClubPoints allotment by upgrading your ownership. They will review the options that are available to you.
I own at two separate resorts. If I deposit my time into HGV, does it all go into one pot of points?
Yes, you have one account as a Club Member.
Can you gift points or stays to non-Members?
You can add a guest certificate to all reservations except Open Season Rental reservations. Book the reservation that you want to gift, and then add on the guest certificate with the guest’s information. This can be done online or by calling a Club Counselor.
How about exchanging Points for cruises?
