Welcome to the Cradle of American Independence — Boston. Here, centuries-old history meets an energetic, contemporary cityscape.

Enjoy an afternoon walking tour of iconic landmarks as you discover the places that played a pivotal role in America’s early history. Visit Boston Common, the Old State House and the Old North Church where Paul Revere received the signal that sparked his famous ride. Continue along the Freedom Trail, explore Faneuil Hall and enjoy free time to browse the shops and food stalls at Quincy Market.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your HGV host and fellow travelers at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Friday, September 3, 2027 | Plymouth Rock, Plimoth Patuxet Museums, Mayflower II and Lobster Dinner

In the morning, journey south to the coastal town of Plymouth. Founded in 1620 and known as “America’s Hometown,” Plymouth marks the first permanent colonial settlement established by the Mayflower Pilgrims.

Visit the legendary Plymouth Rock before exploring the daily life of the Pilgrims and the contributions of the Indigenous Pokanoket people at Plimoth Patuxet Museums. Continue to the Mayflower II vessel, a full‑scale reproduction of the ship that crossed the Atlantic in the 1600s.

Your historic journey concludes in Hyannis, where you’ll check into your accommodations and join your host and fellow travelers for a lobster dinner at a local restaurant.

In the morning, board another scenic ferry ride to Nantucket. Enjoy leisure time for lunch, taking time to stroll along the cobblestone streets, indulge in fresh seafood, browse local boutiques or relax by the picturesque harbor. In the afternoon, join an expert guide for a tour of areas shaped by the island’s strong Quaker influence.

Return by ferry to Hyannis to visit the John F. Kennedy Memorial and the St. Francis Xavier Parish before enjoying a farewell dinner with your host and fellow travelers.

HOSTED TRIPS POINTS FOR TRAVEL: Reservations must be booked by March 26, 2027. Nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit of $500/£375 per person is due at the time of booking. Final payment due by May 7, 2027. Any combination of permitted points and cash or credit card is an applicable form of payment towards a Hosted Trip vacation. Point values applied under this benefit are subject to change and may vary based on tier level. All trips are subject to availability and will be conducted in English. All participants are required to sign the General Activity Release and Indemnification Agreement acknowledgment and to complete the Globus Guest Acknowledgment online process. Price is per person based on double occupancy, land tour only, for tour dates outlined above. Hosted Trip package includes all Globus inclusions plus these additional inclusions: some meals; one ticket per paying passenger for included excursions as noted in itinerary which may require an extra waiver to participate and have other restrictions/qualifications based on height, age and weight; on-tour motorcoach transportation; gratuities for Globus tour director, tour guides and drivers; taxes; and airport transfers. Tour itinerary activities in this region may be subject to favorable weather conditions. Alcoholic beverages are only available to travelers who are 21 years or older. Hotels may differ from those listed by the tour provider, but the accommodations selected are of equivalent standard. Your hotels will be available in your final documents approximately 2-3 weeks prior to departure.
