Day 1: Saturday, May 29, 2027 | Barcelona — Sagrada Família and Park Güell
Welcome to Barcelona, home to famous Gaudí landmarks such as the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, a historic Gothic Quarter, and beautiful city parks. Cobblestone streets, medieval buildings, chic cafés and world-class architecture make this coastal Mediterranean city a perfect blend of history and local charm.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with your HGV host and fellow travelers.

Travel through Andalusia to the historic city of Córdoba. Enjoy a walking tour featuring the Jewish Quarter, Roman Bridge and remains of the Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. Visit the Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba (Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba) and admire the remarkable blend of Islamic and Christian architecture.
Enjoy free time to explore the historic old town before continuing to Seville.

Day 6: Thursday, June 3, 2027 | Seville Highlights, Dinner and Flamenco Show
Visit the iconic Plaza de España with its sweeping semicircle design, azulejo tile mosaics, central fountain and picturesque bridges. Continue to Casa de Pilatos and stroll through the Santa Cruz Quarter, Seville’s former Jewish Quarter. Visit Seville Cathedral, a 15th-century Gothic cathedral that houses the remains of Christopher Columbus.
In the evening, enjoy a flamenco dinner experience at El Palacio Andaluz restaurant with your host and fellow travelers.

Day 7: Friday, June 4, 2027 | Setúbal Free Time, Traditional Tile Workshop and Lisbon Drive
Depart Spain and cross into Portugal en route to Lisbon. Stop in the colorful town of Setúbal for free time before continuing to Azeitão to learn how traditional Portuguese tiles are made.
In the evening, enjoy dinner accompanied by fado music — Lisbon’s soulful and traditional folk music that is synonymous with Portuguese culture.

Perched atop seven hills, Lisbon blends modern life with historic roots, offering winding cobblestone streets, medieval castles and colorful neighborhoods.
Explore Lisbon with a morning Pick Your Experience excursion:
Option 1: Guided walking tour of the city center with a morning tram ride, plus tasting of traditional ginjinha, a sweet and tart Portuguese liqueur.
Option 2: Orientation drive with photo stops at Belém Tower and the Monument to the Discoveries, followed by a visit to the UNESCO-listed Jerónimos Monastery.
In the afternoon, journey along the Portuguese Riviera with scenic coastal stops. Admire the dramatic cliffs of Cape Roca, Guincho Beach in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, and visit the 18th-century Queluz National Palace, known for its lavish gardens and ornate architecture. Fly to Ponta Delgada, the capital of the Azores archipelago, known for its cascading waterfalls, crater lakes and natural beauty. Meet your local guide for an orientation walk through historic landmarks and along the waterfront. The remainder of the day is at your leisure.

Day 10: Monday, June 7, 2027 | Pico da Barrosa, Tea Plantation and Furnas
Day 11: Tuesday, June 8, 2027 | Whale and Dolphin Cruise, Pico do Carvão and Sete Cidades
This morning, enjoy a whale-and-dolphin-watching cruise to search for more than 20 species that inhabit or migrate through the Azorean waters, a marine wildlife oasis. Migratory Atlantic spotted dolphins, striped dolphins and pilot whales use the waterways as their natural point of passage, while sperm whales and bottlenose dolphins call the Azores their permanent home.
In the afternoon, visit a pineapple plantation, then continue to Pico do Carvão viewpoint for panoramic views of rolling hills and volcanic landscapes. End the day in Sete Cidades, admiring the famous twin Green and Blue Lakes separated by a narrow bridge and surrounded by lush greenery.

HOSTED TRIPS POINTS FOR TRAVEL: Reservations must be booked by December 11, 2026. Nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit of $500/£375 per person is due at the time of booking. Final payment due by February 19, 2027. Any combination of permitted points and cash or credit card is an applicable form of payment towards a Hosted Trip vacation. Barcelona arrival transfers are included on the tour start date of May 29, 2027, and Lisbon departure transfers are included on the tour end date of June 10, 2027, provided that Guest arrival and departure flight or alternative travel details are received at least 90 days prior for domestic travelers and 120 days prior for international travelers before tour commencement. Tour itinerary activities in this region may be subject to favorable weather conditions. The highest elevation for São Miguel is 1,103 meters (3,619 ft). Services of the Globus Tour Director end on day 9; the island portion includes services of a local expert. Alcoholic beverages are only available to travelers 18 years or older. When visiting religious landmarks, sacred sites or places of worship, it is important to dress modestly and respectfully. It is customary to cover shoulders, chest and knees and a head scarf may be required for women. Hats or headbands may need to be removed. Hotels may differ from those listed by the tour provider, but the accommodations selected are of equivalent standard. Your hotels will be available in your final documents approximately 2-3 weeks prior to departure. No compensation is provided for alternative hotel stays not listed in the tour provider’s documentation.
A passport valid for six months past the end date of this trip is required for all Guests. The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) will start operations in 2026. Spanish rules do not permit the international shipment of medications. Most cities in Spain and Portugal ban drinking alcohol in the street, except at registered cafes and bars. It is illegal to bring marijuana, cannabis, or CBD products and derivatives into Portugal. Fines range from €1,000 - €10,000. You may also be arrested and detained for long periods of time. The possession or use of pepper spray is not permitted in Portugal. You may face fines or other legal penalties. Entry requirements may vary for passport holders from other countries. Entry visas for other nationalities may be required. Visa requirements are subject to change at any time. International visitor entry requirements are subject to change at any time.
