Known as the UK’s friendliest city, Glasgow is full of spirit, local flair and culture. The city is filled with architectural gems — from medieval buildings and ornate Victorian facades to the iconic designs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

In Gaelic, Glasgow means “dear green place,” and the city lives up to its name with more than 90 parks and green spaces. Glasgow also proudly preserves its history through landmarks like the Necropolis, filled with historic architecture and impressive sculptures.

In the evening, enjoy dinner with your host and fellow travelers.

Day 3: Tuesday, August 17, 2027 | Drive to Fort William, Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands

As your motorcoach departs Glasgow and heads into the Highlands, enjoy one final look at the city before the landscape opens into rolling countryside. Travel towards Fort William, taking in the sweeping views of Loch Lomond, the vast boglands of Rannoch Moor and Scotland’s most storied valley, Glen Coe. Pause to admire Ben Nevis, the mountain with its head in the clouds, before continuing north for a chance to search for the legendary Loch Ness Monster.

Later, visit the prehistoric site of Clava Cairns, a 4,000-year-old Bronze Age cemetery and sacred site, offering a glimpse into ancient Scottish life. Reflect on your visit with a drink at a local pub.

Day 4: Wednesday, August 18, 2027 | Culloden Moor, Blair Castle and Drive to Edinburgh

Immerse yourself in the history of the 1745 rising with a morning visit to the Battle of Culloden. Walk the grounds where history unfolded, view the restored 18th-century Leanach Cottage and perhaps spot Highland cows wandering the battlefield.

Your journey continues through the scenic Cairngorms National Park as you travel to Blair Castle, an estate reflecting centuries of Scottish history. The castle, home to the dukes and earls of Atholl, features layers of medieval, Georgian and Victorian heritage and has served as a residence to notable figures across many eras.

Later, arrive in Edinburgh, where you’ll enjoy a traditional Scottish dinner complete with the Ceremony of the Haggis, singers, dancers and the sound of bagpipes.

Begin your morning with a tour of Edinburgh’s contrasting districts: New Town, with its neoclassical symmetry and refined streetscapes, and Old Town, a medieval maze rich with historic charm.

New Town is home to Princes Street, the city’s main shopping promenade, lined with gardens, parks, the Scott Monument and festive winter markets. Old Town centers around the Royal Mile, where cobbled streets, panoramic viewpoints and centuries-old buildings tell the story of Scotland’s past.

Visit Edinburgh Castle and enjoy a guided tour of this iconic fortress.

In the evening, prepare for an unforgettable experience at The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. The term “tattoo” refers to the traditional drum or bugle call recalling soldiers to their quarters. Then, ascend to Castle Rock, home to the mighty Edinburgh Castle, for a cutting-edge sound and light show. The spectacular show brings together military performances, international acts and the stirring sound of bagpipes, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the castle.

Day 6: Friday, August 20, 2027 | Gretna Green, Grasmere Gingerbread® and Liverpool Beatles Experience

As your motorcoach travels from Glasgow toward Liverpool, make a stop in Gretna Green — the marriage capital of the UK. Built during the First World War, this village has been a romantic destination since 1754, when couples first began eloping to the Famous Blacksmiths Shop to wed.

Next, journey into England’s Lake District and visit Grasmere, the beloved village once home to poet William Wordsworth. With its serene fells, stone cottages and Victorian charm, Grasmere offers a quintessential English countryside experience. Enjoy a taste of Sarah Nelson’s world-famous original Grasmere Gingerbread®, sold in the historic schoolhouse where Wordsworth occasionally taught.

In the evening, immerse yourself in the world of Guinness at the Guinness Storehouse. Discover the brewing process through multisensory exhibits, then enjoy an included dinner overlooking the city.

Day 9: Monday, August 23, 2027 | Irish National Stud, Rock of Cashel and Blarney Castle

Start your morning at the Irish National Stud, home to some of Ireland’s most celebrated racehorses. On your morning tour, you’ll learn about the country’s rich history of horse racing and hear stories about legendary horses against the backdrop of the lush green landscape of Kildare.

In the afternoon, you’ll travel to Cork with a photo stop at the Rock of Cashel, where St. Patrick once preached. In Cork, you’ll visit Blarney Castle, home of the legendary Blarney Stone. Enjoy free time to explore the castle, climb to the top for panoramic views and — if you believe the legend — kiss the Blarney Stone for the gift of eloquence or “the gift of the gab.”

Enjoy time at your leisure in Killarney before joining your host and fellow travelers for an included dinner.

Ease into the day with a scenic drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, following Ireland’s rugged west coast towards the Cliffs of Moher. Soaring up to 214 meters (702 feet) and stretching for 8 kilometers (5 miles), these iconic cliffs offer spectacular views from paved pathways overlooking the Atlantic.

Travel onward to vibrant Galway, where you’ll make a brief stop to soak in the city’s charm, festive energy, colorful storefronts and cobblestone lanes lined with cafés and boutiques.

In the evening, arrive at Sligo and enjoy dinner with your host and fellow travelers before visiting a local pub. Listen to live music and embrace the warm atmosphere of an Irish pub with two complimentary drinks.

You’ll begin in Derry, where a guided tour of the Old Town reveals centuries of conflict and resilience. Walk along the city’s remarkably intact historic walls — the only fully preserved set in Ireland — and experience the vibrant atmosphere that defines this culturally rich destination.

Continue to the iconic Giant’s Causeway, where you’ll follow in the legendary footsteps of giants. Formed more than 600 million years ago, these hexagonal basalt columns are a stunning geological wonder. According to folklore, the Irish giant Finn McCool built the causeway to cross the Irish Sea and confront his Scottish rival, Benandonner.

HOSTED TRIPS POINTS FOR TRAVEL: Reservations must be booked by March 5, 2027. Nonrefundable, nontransferable deposit of $500/£375 per person is due at the time of booking. Final payment due by May 7, 2027. Any combination of permitted points and cash or credit card is an applicable form of payment towards a Hosted Trip vacation. Point values applied under this benefit are subject to change and may vary based on tier level. All trips are subject to availability and will be conducted in English. All participants are required to sign the General Activity Release and Indemnification Agreement acknowledgement and to complete the Globus Guest Acknowledgement online process. Hosted Trip package includes all Globus inclusions plus these additional inclusions: some meals; one ticket per paying passenger for included excursions as noted in itinerary which may require an extra waiver to participate and have other restrictions/qualifications based on height, age and weight; on-tour motor coach transportation; gratuities for the Globus tour director, tour guides and drivers; taxes; and airport transfers. Glasgow arrival transfers are included on the tour start date of August 15, 2027, and Glasgow departure transfers are included on the tour end date of August 28, 2027, provided that Guest arrival and departure flight or alternative travel details are received at least 90 days for domestic travelers and 120 days prior for international travelers before tour commencement. Tour itinerary activities in this region may be subject to favorable weather conditions. This tour requires some uphill walking on rough terrain at Edinburgh Castle which may pose a challenge to Guests with physical limitations or reliance on mobility devices such as wheelchairs. Alcoholic beverages are only available to travelers who are 18 years or older. Hotels may differ from those listed by the tour provider, but the accommodations selected are of equivalent standard. Your hotels will be available in your final documents approximately 2–3 weeks prior to departure. No compensation is provided for alternative hotel stays not listed in the tour provider’s documentation.

A passport valid for six months past the end date of this trip is required for all Guests.
