Starting the Year With Website Enhancements

We're always working behind the scenes to give you the best HGV web and mobile app experience. This release includes a major update to make vacation planning simpler and more efficient. Club Members are now able to book more resorts directly through the website and mobile app, including our popular properties in South Florida along the Gulf Coast.

What Properties Are Now Available for Booking Online?

We’ve integrated the booking system of HGV South Florida properties with the Club booking system. Now, rather than calling Club, you can check the website and app just like with our other properties!

HGV resorts included in this latest update are:

  • Eagle’s Nest Beach Resort
  • Harbourview Villas at South Seas Island Resort
  • Hurricane House Resort
  • Plantation Bay Villas at South Seas Island Resort
  • Plantation Beach Club at South Seas Island Resort
  • Plantation House at South Seas Island Resort
  • Sanibel Cottages Resort
  • Seawatch On-the-Beach Resort
  • Shell Island Beach Club Resort
  • South Seas Club at South Seas Island Resort
  • Sunset Cove Resort
  • The Charter Club of Marco Beach
  • The Cottages at South Seas Island Resort
  • The Surf Club of Marco
  • Tortuga Beach Club Resort

How Can Club Members Search for Availability?

To begin searching for availability, either select “Florida – Gulf” in the Destinations menu, or type in the name or location of the resort in the search bar at the top of the Club website.



Once you’ve found your desired destination or resort, the Availability View allows you to scroll through month by month and check resort availability for booking with ClubPoints, Bonus Points, or for booking during Open Season.



Feel free to also use the List View during your search. The List View is a great tool for use when you have a specific travel date.


You may notice some unit types have an extra code consisting of numbers and letters. This code is used for resort booking purposes only. For example, the units shown below, 2 Bedroom – ES2 – 1 and 2 Bedroom – ES2 – 2, are the same and have the same amenities and features.
