To kick off the New Year, Club Travelers Ann and David Everitt, from Fort Collins, Colorado, vacationed with 15 other family members in Waikoloa, Hawaii, at Kings’ Land by Hilton Grand Vacations.
Ann said the resort’s pool was “fabulous” and the number one attraction for the nine grandchildren on the trip. “The little ones were able to swim freely in the lagoon due to its shallow waters,” she said.
Ann and David also went biking and took ukulele lessons, as did four of the grandchildren. “We put on a ‘concert’ for the others,” Ann said, noting that the other classes were a hit, too, with the kids. “The hula show was outstanding. I could go on and on.”
Ann said they were able to get “delicious, fresh food” from the nearby bistro without ever having to leave the resort. And, “frankly, the room locations couldn't have been more perfect,” she said.
The three families were all situated near the pool and in the same building. “This made nap times, running back and forth to get things extremely easy for the kids,” she said.
This prime location was made possible by Hilton Grand Vacations Club Team Members, Ann said.
“We have gotten to know Stewart Bloom, our Club Counselor, and he has been amazing in his ability to navigate our recent complex, 17-member family vacation at our favorite resort,” Ann said. “Stewart got every single detail down pat for four suites, and he did it all with such good humor and patience.”
Ann said Stewart even recognizes their phone number and always promptly calls back if he misses Ann and her husband’s call.
“Hilton has been our second home wherever we go, and Stewart just makes it easy to navigate each reservation.”
Ann also said their desk host, Ernella, did everything possible to keep the three families’ rooms in the same building and near the pool.
“We appreciate all of the hard work by so many to make that happen,” she said.
This summer, Ann and David are headed to Sunrise Lodge, a Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Park City, Utah, for the first time to vacation with friends. Ann also said they are eager to visit Hilton Grand Vacations’ new property in Maui someday.
