In May, Hilton Grand Vacations Club officially launched its new website in English, with the Japanese version coming later this June. The website features a modern, fresh design with useful new features. We hope you’ve seen it!
Jason Bongo, director of digital content for the Club, said the new website was built to enhance the online Member experience. “We [designed] it to behave more like a traditional travel site, but layering in vacation ownership rules and functionality on top of that. The new site is also ‘responsive,’ which means it scales for whatever device Members are using to access it, so it’ll be mobile-friendly,” Bongo said.
Pull open the new webpage and a bright, colorful, easy to navigate screen will greet you, said Angie, a Club Counselor who spent time exploring the site and making sure it was ready for Club Members to dive in and explore. “My favorite aspect is the new homepage, which shows any upcoming reservations with detailed information about the resort,” Angie said. “Booking a reservation is so easy because you can see availability for a specific date range at all properties in a particular area at a glance without having to dig for them.” Find out what others are saying about the new website too.
The modernized site offers Club Members an engaging experience and an even greater sense of ownership. It also streamlines other processes, such as simplifying online reservations in order to make the process more intuitive.
As the site continues to improve, its user-friendly offerings will only increase. Bongo said his goal is to make sure the website remains updated with new functionality. Future plans Club is exploring include the ability to book partner resorts online, instead of only via phone. It’s one of the most frequent requests by Club Members, and the new website team was listening. Bongo said this functionality is something Club is striving to deliver.
And, in case you missed our announcement last month, yes, the new website will soon have an app, too! Hilton Grand Vacations is developing a mobile app to extend the experience Club Members will encounter on the website. Plus, it will include additional mobile features. The app will be available for Club Members to download to their Apple or Android devices this summer. In the meantime, take a sneak peek at some of the app’s features.
