In case you haven’t noticed, Hilton Grand Vacations has been busy in its digital spaces. In the first half of the year, Club has already rolled out a variety of updates and enhancements on its digital platforms, all with the same goal in mind— making your vacation experience easy and efficient.
Here’s a recap of what’s completed and now available at your fingertips, as well as a preview for what’s planned for the second half of 2017!
New Booking Engine and Search Enhancements. This April, Club rolled out a new booking engine allowing Members to search across multiple properties without having to refer to individual resort pages to find the availability they are looking for. Members can now easily shift their travel dates around to find what works. The new search is even more user-friendly and is similar to that of the former Revolution booking engine, which many Members had asked for.
Improved Member Dashboard. In April, your Member dashboard was made even more personalized. Improvements included better access to Members’ Hilton Honors account and points balance, the ability for Members to directly log in to their RCI/HGV account on the RCI website, and the ability to directly book Home Week and Home Resort reservations. Thanks to these upgrades, Members can also readily see the weeks they own, including the season, unit type and number of ClubPoints, the status of the week and whether they’ve booked a reservation, and the availability for when they can book.
Introducing Online Booking for Affiliates. In May, Members gained the ability to book several affiliates online instead of having to call a Club Counselor. So far, Fiesta American and Anantara resorts are available to book online, but Members will see additions to this list soon.
Website and App Integration. The Club’s website and app are now fully integrated, which means Members can directly access the content and services on the website from the mobile app without having to log in again.
Uber Partnership. Members can order a ride from Uber directly from the My Trip screen of the Hilton Grand Vacations mobile app. The app comes preset to take you directly to your Club.
Request Partner Perks Online. Soon, Club Members will be able to request Partner Perks travel certificates, from ClubPartners such as Forever Resorts and Tauck, through the website.
Access to by Hilton Club Support and Reservations. For Members with both Hilton Club Points and Hilton Grand Vacations ClubPoints, this feature will allow these Members to manage the two sets of Points separately, book by Hilton Club Properties online and use the priority reservation windows for by Hilton Club.
Loan and HOA Payment Improvements. Members will see a variety of improvements such as being able to manage a digital wallet with different payment types online and the ability to make automatic payments for loans and process real-time payments for both loans and HOA.
Even More Affiliates Will Become Bookable Online. This improvement will include fixed-week properties such as those in South Florida.
Online Member Education Tutorials. Interactive tutorials will roll out to answer some of Members’ frequently asked questions about topics ranging from Cancellation Protection to achieving Elite status. These tutorials will be available in the Help section of the Club website.
New Booking Engine and Search Specific to Mobile App. The mobile app version will take the elements Members see with the new booking engine online and augment and optimize these elements to function on smaller screens.
New Resort Services. New services that will be available through the app include two-way communication between resort staff and Members as well as grocery services through Fill My Fridge, aimed to help Members with meal preparation. At properties where the program will be available, you’ll be able to have your room stocked with snacks, produce, dairy items and even alcoholic beverages before your arrival. Fill My Fridge will save Members time by eliminating errands while offering an easy solution with prices comparable to those at local grocery stores.
New, Robust App Features. Members will see an improved Club Guide and additional social community features such as channels, which will feature related topics where Club Members can learn more, add topics, write and respond to questions within a channel and like or dislike content appearing in each channel. Additionally, Club is working to create a personalized stream feature where each Member will have his or her own community profile page and can choose to follow other community members. Activity and posts made by community members a Club Member chooses to follow will appear in in his or her personalized stream.
