Taxpayer Identification Letter Notice
The United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires that we obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number for our customers that are United States citizens or non-citizens that are considered U.S. persons under the U.S. tax code. Currently, we do not have a valid Taxpayer Identification Number (Tax ID) on file for you.
As a result, you will be receiving a letter from a third-party vendor (SOVOS, out of London, KY) that Hilton Grand Vacations has retained to collect missing Tax ID numbers on our behalf. The letter is in English and should arrive via the postal service in the coming weeks accompanied by a Form W-9 (Request for Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification). If you are a United States citizen or meet the requirements of the IRS to be considered a U.S. Person, please complete and sign Form W-9. If not, you may disregard this letter.
