Climb The Exorcist Stairs
Visit, the 75 super-steep stone stairs made famous in the 1973 horror film "The Exorcist." This location received a historical designation in 2015.Go to a free movie screening at the Library of Congress’ Pickford Theater
During the month of February, the free-to-visit Library of Congress hosts a special movie series in its Pickford Theater. All screenings are free, but you will need to secure tickets beforehand. Tickets for the 2019 film series will be available in December.Groove to free live jazz at the Smithsonian American Art Museum
Free live jazz is offered at the Smithsonian American Art Museum's "Take Five!" performance series. Held the third Thursday of each month, with the museum's Kogod Courtyard Café selling light snacks and beverages.Discover the new and improved Washington Monument
The renovated Washington Monument is now open. Visits are free, but everyone over the age of 2 needs a timed tickets. Same-day tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day. Wheelchairs are permitted.
